Beginning the week of January 25, 2009, all delivered books will contain an insert listing the following:

  •   p. 282 - Fertilization of the egg occurs in the fallopian tubes, not the vagina. 73% of respondents in the cited poll believed it occurred in the vagina.

  •   p. 388 - Annual likelihood of overdose death for heroin users in cited Hickman study was 1%, not .016%.

Books already in consignment at Amazon.com as of January 25, 2009 will not contain the insert.
